Rove Hotels in Dubai has recently unveiled its commitment to environmental sustainability by initiating a tree-planting campaign tied to hotel bookings. From November 30 to December 12, the hotel chain pledges to plant a tree for every stay booked during this period. This eco-conscious endeavor aligns with the objectives of COP28 and will be executed in collaboration with W&A Consular and Eden Reforestation Projects. In anticipation of significant demand during this timeframe, the trees will be planted before the year concludes, with a particular focus on accommodating attendees of various summits.
Paul Bridger, the COO of Rove Hotels said, “We are thrilled to announce this initiative in which we will plant at least 28,000 trees by the end of the year. This project reflects our determination to impact the environment and support the UAE’s efforts positively. By planting trees for every booking, we aim to inspire others to join us in the fight against climate change.”
It's worth noting that each Rove Hotel has earned the prestigious Green Key certification, emphasizing the brand's unwavering dedication to implementing sustainable practices within the hospitality sector. Furthermore, Rove Hotels actively participates as a member of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance and proudly holds the distinction of being the first hotel group to meet Dubai Tourism's stringent sustainability standards across its entire portfolio of hotels.
